About Us

Hygiene

keeping the public safe

Our priority is to ensure the quality and freshness of the food we serve and to maintain the highest possible standards to keep our Customers safe.

Food handling and food safety are strictly governed by the General Food Hygiene Regulations 1995. It is incumbent upon us to ensure that every person working in a food handling area maintains a high degree of personal cleanliness and attire.

We ensure that all food handlers exercise best practices and do not expose food to any risk of contamination.

High personal standards of hygiene are essential if this risk of contamination is to be mitigated. All our staff are fully trained in both the governing legislation but also our common-sense approach to food hygiene and safety.

Health & Safety standards

It is vital that, in order to maintain hygiene standards, all of our team members adhere to our strict code of conduct.

Our Common Sense Approach

Look presentable

Hair should be tied back or covered with approved hair covering

Suitable clothing protection should be always worn

Dress any wounds quickly and appropriately

No Smoking around any food preparation area

Wash hands regularly in particular, after handling cooked or uncooked food, after using the toilet, or after handling food and packaging waste

If it looks wrong, and you are not sure, ask.
